Bangkok, 23 March: Bangkok-based travel tech startup Tineri was honoured last night to receive a Frost & Sullivan Thailand Excellence Award, at a ceremony which took place at Bangkok’s 5* St Regis Hotel.
Now in their sixth year, the Thailand Excellence Awards recognise outstanding achievement in the Thailand market in various sectors, and this year for the first time Frost & Sullivan included a Companies to Action category, designed to reward startups like Tineri who are disrupting existing business models and reshaping their industries.
Tineri was recognised for its contribution in enhancing customer experiences and service levels in travel, “one of the most service-centric industries of all” according to Frost & Sullivan. The award, Companies to Action Award (Travel & Tourism Facilitation Market) was presented to Tineri’s Founder & CEO Tim Russell by Frost & Sullivan’s Asia-Pacific Managing Director, Manoj Menon.
“Running a small B2B travel tech startup is often a thankless and frustrating task” said Russell, “so it’s great to get some recognition in the form of this Frost & Sullivan Award and be acknowledged by Thailand’s business community.”
He added: “This is just the first of several exciting announcements from Tineri, with more to come in the next few weeks as we ramp up our activities prior to our beta launch.”
